The Lounge Set at Finchley Studios is a versatile filming space designed for relaxed, natural-looking content. Its comfortable living-room style makes it particularly well suited to podcasts, interviews, lifestyle videos, social media content, family content and branded productions.

The set is equipped for professional video and audio recording, with Panasonic Lumix S5D cameras and Shure SMB7 microphones available as part of our gold and platinum production packages. This means you can record polished, multi-camera video podcasts, interviews and social media content without having to arrange your own production equipment.

In general, Finchley Studios does not provide dedicated storage for props, furniture or production equipment. However, we may be able to temporarily hold smaller items, depending on availability and your specific requirements. If you need to leave props at the studio before or after your booking, please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements. We'll let you know what may be possible and whether we can accommodate smaller items temporarily.

The Lounge is soundproof and pre-lit for multi-person productions, with professional video and audio equipment available through our recording packages. Our Gold Package also includes a Blackmagic ATEM switcher, providing a professional production setup for multi-camera recording.

If you are planning a livestream, please tell us when you book so we can advise you and prepare the appropriate setup. For a livestream, webinar, live podcast or branded broadcast, the Lounge provides a relaxed on-camera environment without compromising professional production quality.

Yes. Remote guests can join a Lounge Set recording, making it possible to include interviewees, co-hosts or contributors who cannot attend the studio in person. Finchley Studios can set up the necessary connections for remote guests and provide multi-track recording, helping you maintain high-quality audio and video for the final production.

This is particularly useful for podcasts, interviews, panel discussions and thought-leadership content, where bringing every participant into the studio isn't always practical.Please mention your remote guest requirements when you book. We can then discuss the connection and recording setup needed for your particular production and help ensure the in-studio and remote participants are recorded smoothly.
