A clear arrival brief protects recording time and helps guests settle before the microphones go live. For a Finchley podcast session, the most important first step is confirming which venue your booking uses.
Send the correct studio address
Finchley Studios is at 1 Dollis Mews, Finchley Central, London N3 1HH. Finchley's website describes it as a two-minute walk from Finchley Central Underground station on the Northern line, opposite the Travelodge entrance.
The Finchley Warehouse has a separate address: 22–23 Arcadia Avenue, Finchley Central, London N3 2JU. Do not send every guest to Dollis Mews by default. Copy the confirmed venue from your booking into the call sheet.
Make the arrival brief easy to use
Include the date, guest arrival time, recording time, address and a contact number. For Dollis Mews, Finchley's published What3words location is orders.yards.jokes.
Ask guests to check their route and current transport conditions before travelling. Avoid building the production schedule around an unverified journey estimate; leave room for guests to arrive, use the facilities and receive their briefing.
Arrange vehicles and individual requirements
Finchley's website lists one free parking space per booking at Dollis Mews. Confirm its allocation in advance rather than promising parking to every attendee. Additional local parking can involve charges, and loading arrangements should be discussed separately.
Ask guests privately about access or seating requirements and pass the relevant information to the studio ahead of time. The arrival route and room arrangement should be checked for the specific venue.

How Finchley Studios handles this
Send us your guest list, chosen set and any parking, loading or access questions before the session. We can discuss the booking location and arrival arrangements with you. Keep our published contact number, 07587 827200, in the guest brief so there is a clear point of contact on the day.
Explore our London podcast studio to compare sets and recording support. Discuss your session on WhatsApp with your preferred date and production brief.
