An executive or high-profile guest brings a tight diary and additional people into the production process. A successful interview needs a clear editorial purpose, a calm arrival and a recording plan that respects the agreed time.

Align the people behind the guest
Identify who manages travel and timing, who approves brand assets and who answers editorial questions. Consolidate their requirements into one brief so the host and studio team do not receive conflicting instructions.
Agree the audience, subject areas and intended outputs in advance. Clarify any review arrangements before the recording; avoid assuming that attendance by a communications representative creates a particular approval process.
Prepare for a conversation
Research the guest's work and prepare questions that invite concrete examples. An outline helps maintain direction without forcing every response into a script. Check names, roles and introductions so basic corrections do not consume the limited interview window.
Plan the opening and closing carefully. If the guest must leave at a fixed time, the host should know which questions are essential and which can be dropped.
Make the studio visit predictable
Share the venue, arrival contact, expected recording length and total headcount. Discuss parking, access, waiting arrangements and any additional security requirements before the day.
Complete technical preparation as far as possible before the guest sits down. Keep the final microphone and camera checks focused, and leave time for essential pickups before departure.

How Finchley Studios handles this
The CEO Set is a Finchley option for corporate and leadership content. Share the guest's available window, support team size and production requirements when enquiring. If scripted introductions or statements need a teleprompter, ask about the appropriate package and include that setup in the schedule.
